Santa Rosa Beach encompasses many smaller communities on the western end of Scenic Highway 30A including Blue Mountain Beach, Dune Allen and North Santa Rosa Beach. An established community, Santa Rosa Beach offers wide stretches of white sand beaches, varied architectural styles of both new and old construction, restaurants, shopping and preservation land. Gulf Place is a hub of activity with restaurants, shops and the lively Artist Colony where local artisans display and sell their wares. The trailhead for the Longleaf Pine Greenway Trail is located here and offers a great place to enjoy the natural beauty of the area with a bike/walking path and picnic area.
