Draper Lake is one of several dune lakes found exclusively along the Florida Panhandle. The community layout and architecture are designed in character with the building traditions of the historic Great Camps of the Adirondacks, and other lake village retreats. Designed by Duany, Plater-Zyberk and Dover Kohl, great care has gone into the sensitive preservation of the natural surroundings. It is a place like no other; a protected ecosystem harboring unique flora and fauna, and a rare dune lake.
